The Saint Vincent de Paul Center had it beginnings at 161 Union Street in Newark, Ohio, and is now located at 135 Wilson St., with a homeless shelter next door (St. Vincent Haven) at 115 Wilson St. The Center has been blessed with many fine volunteers and generous contributions from the Catholic parishes, local businesses and individuals. The Center operates in association with representatives and volunteers from the five area Saint Vincent de Paul Society Conferences of Blessed Sacrament, St. Edward The Confessor, St. Leonard, Church of the Ascension, and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. Volunteers in the community also assist in the operation. This Website has been established to inform the community and enhance services to clients and volunteers alike.
