Help Out With Donations of Money, Food, Store Items

You may help by contributing funds, goods, services or materials. Donors share items like food goods, clothing, furniture or special skills. They may give a one time monetary gift to the Center or regularly contribute to the Center works. These generous persons, who frequently represent a wide variety of religious heritages, are extremely helpful to the works of the Center.

Monetary Gift: Through your contribution the poor and needy receive critical assistance at desperate times in their lives with respect and love. Your continued financial support will help the children, the homeless, the elderly and the hungry of Licking County. If you would like to make a donation, please drop it off at the Thrift Store or send your check to:

St Vincent de Paul Center

A steady and predictable stream of donations is important to our ability to better serve the community. A regular contribution can allow us to plan our programs and commitments on a scheduled, long-term basis. Bequests and Endowments would help provide future funding. All contributions are tax deductable.

Clothing: Your clean, usable clothing is in need. Winter clothing for adults and children are in particular demand. Clothing of all kinds will be accepted at the Center since we can store these items on a seasonal basis. Clothing is either distributed to the needy or sold at minimum prices to support the Center. Pickup of large volumes of clothing may be available. Contact us at 349-8425.

Household Items: Dishes, pots and pans, knick knacks, books, records, lamps, tools are among popular items. Please note that we cannot accept sporting goods, exercise equipment and luggage, as these items do not meet the needs of the poor, nor do they sell in the store.

Furniture and Appliances: Items such as sofas, chairs, and tables are in demand. Other items include desks, hutches, entertainment centers, bookcases and small appliances. Large electric appliances may be donated on a selective basis only. They must be in good working order before we can accept them. We cannot accept gas appliances.

Food: Canned goods, non-perishable food items can be accepted at the Food Pantry. Of particular need are Paper goods and personal items such as toiletries which are also distributed by the Food Pantry.

Material: As our operation grows there will be a need to expand or renovate our facility. This offers an opportunity for individuals and business to donate the needed materials such as shelving, clothes racks, and display cases. Of significant importance is building material for such projects.

Technical and Professional Services: Donate your time to assist the Center with technical issues such as database and web site work. Accounting and Legal assistance will help the Center significantly reduce their operating expenses.
